We’re more than just a retail store! We have a studio area with a huugge table (called Humongous) where we hold regular classes and workshops.
In-house classes are coordinated and run by Vanessa. Vanessa trained as a dressmaker and has been sewing all her life! She has been an adult educator in her previous workplaces and enjoys spending time with each student in a class.
“My students tell me that I’m very patient and I never want a student to feel ‘left behind’. Not everyone learns (or sews) at the same pace. I like to make sure people are comfortable with a new technique before they leave the training”
We’re always interested in what you’re making and we love to see people finishing their projects.
