Introduction to Long-arm quilting

Learn to quilt your own quilts on our Handi Quilter “Simply Sixteen” long-arm. It’s not that scary to use, in fact it’s a lot of fun!

$50 for the 2 hour one-on-one lesson + bring a quilt sandwich to practice on. Your $50 fee includes a complimentary needle & bobbin for you to keep & use on your first project.

The next step…..option A – If you’re ready to give it a whirl you can hire our long arm quilting machine.

Option B – Not ready to go it alone just yet, or unsure what quilting design to use on your project? Don’t panic…..Help’s at hand. We have partnered with northern Tasmanian Quilter Danelle Griffin (@quiltingbydanelle) to offer a great add-in session to your first long-arm hire.

Danelle will join you for the first hour of your machine hire booking to guide you through selecting your quilting design and getting that first stitching done on your quilt.
